OUR ORIGIN
From labels to encounters
As long as people talk about “those Moroccans” or “those Limburgers”, there is work to be done.

Nobody is Not Welcome emerged from the desire to challenge the habit of labeling. Founder Patrick had long felt the need to push back against how easily people reduce others to categories.
With a background in lighting, scenography, events and exhibitions, Patrick sees creativity as a way to bring more light and openness into society.
Through projects such as a pink inflatable church at Outdoor Stereo and a stage with drag DJs at the Deine Festival, he created spaces where communities that rarely meet could encounter one another.

Personal growth is not only about pursuing positive ideals. It is also about acknowledging our own darker impulses.
We often deny them in ourselves while quickly recognizing and judging them in others.
With Nobody is Not Welcome, we choose to acknowledge human imperfection rather than judge it.
